“The Let’s Talk project had its beginnings with a Saturday evening held in the All Saints Peckham church hall. Born out of the vision of Chris Haydon, founder of Community TV Trust, it was inspiring to see under one roof so many different perspectives on the tragedy of the knife crime epidemic besieging our city. Former perpetrators, victims, law enforcement officers, faith leaders and youth leaders could all find common ground in a joint resolve to work together, after first starting to talk together. Chris is someone with both the energy and the networking ability to bring vastly different people alongside one another, to start a journey that can only be for the good of the capital here, and indeed beyond throughout the country.”
